Klickbumm.

Windows 95, lunch break, Pentium 75. The classic at its original size: smiley, LED counters, question marks, two-button chording. The first click is always safe. (Klickbumm is German for “click-boom”.)

Top 10 per difficulty, the shortest time wins. After a best time the game asks for your name like in 1995 – here up to 10 characters. Stored: name, time, date and country; difficulty and settings stay in your browser (nk-ms).

How to play

Goal: reveal every square that does not hide a mine – as fast as possible.

A number tells you how many mines are in the eight neighbouring squares. An empty square reveals its surroundings automatically.

Where you suspect a mine, you place a flag. The left counter shows mines minus placed flags, the right one the seconds.

If a number has exactly as many flags around it as it says, clicking the number (or left + right together) reveals the remaining neighbours. If a flag is wrong: boom.

The smiley starts a new game.
